Arrival at the Venue

Location: Senate House, Malet Street, London, WC1E 7HU

Senate House is a short 5 minute walk from both Goodge Street and Russell Square tube stations. The building provides step free access from the street to the ground floor. You can find venue details including a floor plan, lift locations and toilets via this link.

Registration and Badge Collection

The registration desk in Crush Hall will be open from 08:00 and will remain staffed throughout the day. Please collect your badge before entering Macmillan Hall for refreshments. Delegates will have yellow badges/lanyards and speakers will be peach. All staff will be wearing green lanyards if you needed any assistance. Please ensure you wear your badge at all times, as this is required for venue security.
We recycle our badges, so at the event of the event please hand them in at our registration desk.

A manned cloakroom will be available for delegates on arrival. Printed agendas and a map of the building will be available on request at the registration desk.

Morning Sessions

A breakfast briefing on “Open Discussion: Embedding Lessons from the Grenfell Tower Inquiry” will begin at 08:35 in the Woburn Suite. This will be followed by the chair’s opening remarks at 09:15, formally starting the conference.

Breakout Sessions

A range of breakout sessions will run throughout the day. There is no need to pre register — simply choose the sessions you wish to attend. For sessions with limited capacity, places will be offered on a first come, first served basis.

Lunch and Learn sessions

We will also host two short lunchtime sessions:

Embedding the Competence and Conduct Standard (13:15–13:50)

Demonstrating the Value of Social Housing (13:20–13:50)

The event will run until 16:45.

Prayer room

A prayer room is available. If you need directions or assistance, please speak to a member of the NHF registration team. We will be located on the registration desk all day.

Dress code

There is no dress code for this event so please wear what you are comfortable in on the day.
